How Facebook was found by Mark Zuckerberg

FaceMash A Fun Site for Voting

In 2003, on summer when Mark Zuckerberg suffered from insomnia in the Harvard dormitory room, then he got an idea to create a website called FaceMash. Mark Zuckerberg decided to hack the database of Harvard University, where the students uploaded their profile pictures. He quickly wrote a program, in that randomly selected any two pictures of any two random female students and put them next to each other, and asking “Who is hotter?”, giving the option for voting.

The process was in full swing and site was visited by most of the students at Harvard University. When the number of visitors cross the limit, the server crashed due to overload. Mark Zuckerberg appeared before the committee on computer hacking. Of course, nobody told Mark Zuckerberg ‘Well done!’ and he received a disciplinary notice, and had noticed that such kind of things cause stormy interest in society.

Success story of Facebook

In January 2004, Mark Zuckerberg began writing the code for a new website, known as "theFacebook". and he said in an article in The Harvard Crimson that he was inspired to make Facebook from the incident of Facemash. On February 4, 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched "Thefacebook", originally located at thefacebook.com.

2004
In March 2004, Facebook expanded to Stanford, Yale and Columbia. This expansion continued when it opened to all Ivy League and Boston area schools. It successively reached most universities in Canada and the United States. Facebook was incorporate in the summer of 2004, and the businessman Sean Parker, who had been informally advising Mark Zuckerberg, became the president of the company. In 2004 June, Facebook moved its base of operations to Palo Alto, California. The company dropped "The" word from its name "thefacebook"  after purchasing the domain name facebook.com in 2005 for $200,000.

2005 & 2006
On 1 October, 2005, Facebook expanded to twenty-one universities in the United Kingdom and others around the world. Facebook launched a version of high school in September 2005, which Mark Zuckerberg called the next logical step. At that time, high school networks need an invitation to join. Facebook later extended membership eligibility to employees of many  companies, including Microsoft and Apple Inc. On 11 December 2005, universities in  New Zealand and Australia were added to the Facebook network, bringing its size to 25,000 + high schools and 2,000+ colleges throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland. Facebook was opened on September 26, 2006 to everyone minimum age 13 and older with a valid e-mail address.

2007
Late in 2007, Facebook had 100,000 business pages, allowing companies to attract probable customers and tell about themselves. These started as group pages, but a new concept was planned called company pages.

2008
In October 2008, Facebook announced that it would set up its international headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

2010
In 2010, Facebook began to invite users to become beta testers after passing a questions-and-answers based selection process, and a set of Facebook Engineering Puzzles where users would solve various computational problems which gave them an chance to be hired by Facebook.

2011
As of February 2011, Facebook had become the largest online photos host, being cited by Facebook application and online photo aggregator Pixable as expecting to have hundred billion photos by summer 2011. As of October 2011, over 350 million users accessed Facebook using their mobile phones, accounting for 33% of all Facebook traffic.

2012
On March 12 2012, Yahoo! filed suit in a United states federal court against Facebook weeks before the scheduled Facebook initial public offering. In its court filing, Yahoo said that Facebook had break on ten of its patents covering privacy controls, advertising and social networking. Yahoo had bluster to sue Facebook a month before the filing, insisting that the social network license its patents. A spokes-person for Facebook issued a statement saying "We're disappointed that Yahoo, a longtime   Facebook business partner and a company that has really benefited from its association with Facebook, has decided to concealment to litigation". The lawsuit claims that Yahoo's patents cover basic social networking ideas such as customizing website user's experiences to their needs, adding that the patents cover ways of targeting ads to individual users. In 2012, an online mobile store, called Facebook App Center was rolled out. The store initially had 500 Facebook apps which were mostly games

"Main jadon tere khaab an wale raah tureya
Main turreya bada na maithon jawein mudeya
O jive rehnde panne nal panne judd de
Main ravaan tere nal ohna waangu judeya"

Main jab tere khwaabon ki raste pe chala
Main chala bahut par mujhse muda nahi gaya
Jaise kagaz se kagaz jude rehte hain
Main bhi tere saath aise hi juda hun

"Main likhda hunda si tere baare adiye
Jaa ke puchle gawah ne taare adiye
Jo karde mazak ohna hass lainde
Jo taane kassde ohna nu kass lainde"

Main tere baare likhta tha
Jaa ke puchle taaron se woh gawah hai
Jo mazak karte hai unko has lene de
Jo taane marte hai unko maarne de

"Dil tainu rehnda sadda chete karda
Kise hor te na maare tere te hi marda
Ban meri rani tera raja ban jaan
Tu hi ban mera ghar darwaza ban jaan"

Dil tujhe humesha yaad karta hai
Kisi aur pe nahi tere pe hi marta hai
Tu mere rani ban me tera raja ban jaun
Tu mera ghar ban aur me darwaza ban jaun

"O tainu vekh jaava tere val rudeya
Tu fool te main tahni wangu naal judeya"

Tujhe dekh ke teri taraf khicha chala aayun
Tu phool aur main tehni ki tarah sath juda raha

"Main jado tere khaab an wale raah tureya
Main turreya bada na maithon jawein mudeya
O jive rehnde panne nal panne judd de
Main ravaan tere nal ohna waangu judeya"

Main jab tere khwaabon ki raste pe chala
Main chala bahut par mujhse muda nahi gaya
Jaise kagaz se kagaz jude rehte hain
Main bhi tere saath aise hi juda hun

"Layi na tu mainu bahute laare adiye
Ni hor kitte rehjiye kunware adiye
Mere supne bade ne keh lainde
Na bhejj main dur nede reh lai de"

Mujhe jyada laare (wait) mat karwa
Kahin main kawara nahi reh jaun
Mere bahut sapne hain mujhe keh lene de
Na bhej mujhe door mujhe apne pass reh lene de

"Ae pyar rahe pura na rahe thudeya
Main umraan tayi tere naal raha judeya"

Yeh pyaar poora rahe na rahe kam
Main poori umar tere sath juda rahu

"Main jado tere khwaab an wale raah tureya
Main turreya bada na maithon jawein mudeya
O jive rehnde panne nal panne judd de
Main ravaan tere nal ohna waangu judeya"

Main jab tere khwaabon ki raste pe chala
Main chala bahut par mujhse muda nahi gaya
Jaise kagaz se kagaz jude rehte hain
Main bhi tere saath aise hi juda hun

"Aa kathe ho ke duniya bana laye
Rusiye te ta jhat hi mana laye
Choli teri khushiyaan naal bhar daunga
Supne aa wala tainu ghar daunga
Ae fikke nahi laare eh sahchi gudde aa
Tere lai ae haath Rabb agge judeya"

Aa ek saath mil ke duniya bana le
Agar roothe toh mana le ek doosre ko
Tere jholi khushiyon se bhar dunga
Sapno wala tujhe ghar dunga
Yeh intezaar fika nahi hai
Yeh bahut gehra (dark) hai
Tere liye yeh hath bhagwaan ke age jude hai

"Main jado tere khwab an wale raah tureya
Main turreya bada na maithon jawein mudeya
O jive rehnde panne nal panne judd de
Main ravaan tere nal ohna waangu judeya"

Main jab tere khwaabon ki raste pe chala
Main chala bahut par mujhse muda nahi gaya
Jaise kagaz se kagaz jude rehte hain
Main bhi tere saath aise hi juda hun

His father, although not an engineer, was an early computer enthusiast. He was Running a dental office he had a vision that computers would change the way people communicate. But he used them for taking scanning people’s mouths. At age 10 Mark was bored with school. His father noticed this  and pproposed him to his Altair computer. Together they wrote a program that connected the computer at home with the office computer. And They called it “ZuckNet.” It alerted doctor Z, as he is known, when a patient arrived. Want to know about the past life of sachin

Sachin was born on 24 April, 1973, in Mumbai, India. Introduced to cricket at age 11, Tendulkar was just 16 when he became India's youngest Test cricketer in history.  He became the first cricketer in 2005 who score 35 centuries (100 runs in a single inning) in Test play. He reached another major milestone in 2008 by surpassing Brian Lara's mark of 11,953 Test runs. Sachin Tendulkar took home the World Cup with his team in 2011, and wrapped up his record-breaking career in 2013.

His father was a writer and a professor, while his mother worked for a life insurance company.

He was only 11 years old when he was get his first cricket bat, and his talent in the sport was immediately apparent. At the age of 14 years, he scored 326 runs out of a world-record stand of 664 in a school match. As his accomplishments grew, he became a sort of cult figure among Mumbai schoolboys.

After high school, Tendulkar enrolled at Kirti College, where his father also taught. Tendulkar's family is very close, and years after he'd achieved stardom and cricket fame, and he continued to live next door to his parents.

Cricket Superstar

Wasting little time living up to the lofty expectations, the 15-year-old Sachin Tendulkar scored a century in his domestic first-class debut for Bombay in December 1988, making him the youngest player of cricket. Eleven months later, he made his international debut for India against Pakistan, where he famously refused medical assistance despite getting hit in the face by Waqar Younis.

In August 1990, the 17-year-old Sachin delivered a match-saving 119 not out against England to become the second-youngest player to record a century in Test match. Other celebrated early highlights included a pair of centuries in Australia in 1992, one of them coming at the fast WACA track in Perth. Underscoring his rapid rise to the top of his sport, in 1992 Sachin became the first international player to sign with England's storied Yorkshire club.

In a country reeling from crisis economic times, the young cricketer was seen as a symbol of hope by his countrymen that better times lay ahead. After finishing the 1996 World Cup as the event's leading scorer, Tendulkar was named captain of the Indian national team. However, his Incumbency marked one of the few blights on an otherwise illustrious career. He was relieved of the responsibility in 1998 January, and briefly took over as captain again in 1999, but overall won just four of 25 Test matches in that position.

In 2001, Tendulkar became the first player to score 10,000 runs in One Day International (ODI) series, and the following year he surpassed the great Don Bradman on the all-time list with his 30th Test century. And he was again the leading scorer during World Cup play in 2003, earning Man of the Series honors despite India's loss to Australia in the final match.

Tendulkar's dominance of his sport continued even as he moved into his 30s. He delivered an unbeaten score 241 against Australia in January 2004, and notched his record-breaking 35th century in Test series in December 2005. In October 2008, he entered the record books again by blowing past Brian Lara's mark of 11,953 Test runs in the test matches. On the heels of becoming the first player to post a double century in ODI play, and he was named the 2010 International Cricket Council Cricketer of the Year.

In April 2011, Tendulkar chalked up another great milestone when he and his team propelled India to a World Cup victory over Sri Lanka, the first in his long career. During the tournament, he again proved he was in a class by himself by becoming the first batsman to score 2,000 runs and six centuries in World Cup competition.

Tendulkar played his 200th and final Test match in November 2013, finishing with a jaw-dropping collection of statistics that included more than 34,000 runs and 100 centuries in international play.

How did steve jobs changed the world in terms of technology

Steve jobs founder of Apple company

The successful American businessman and technology visionary who is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc, was born on 24 February 1955. His parents were two University of Wisconsin graduate students,  Syrian-born Abdulfattah Jandali & Joanne Carole Schieble. They were both unmarried at the time. Jandali, who was teaching in Wisconsin when Steve jobs was born, said he had no choice but to put the baby up for adoption because his girlfriend's family members objected to their relationship.

Steve Jobs

The baby was adopted at birth by Paul Reinhold Jobs (1922–1993) and Clara Jobs (1924–1986). Afterwards, when asked about his adoptive parents, Jobs replied emphatically that Paul & Clara Jobs were my parents. And he stated in his authorized biography that they "were my parents 1,000%." Unknown to him, his biological parents would after marry (December 1955), have a second child, novelist Mona Simpson, in 1957, and divorce in 1962.

The Steve Jobs family moved from San Francisco to Mountain View, California when Steve was five years old. The parents afterwards adopted a daughter, Patti. Paul was a machinist for a company that made lasers, and taught his son rudimentary electronics and also taught how to work with his hands. The father showed Steve how to work on electronic devices in the family garage, demonstrating to his son how to take apart and reconstruct electronics such as radios & televisions. As a result, Steve became interested in and developed a hobby of electronic devices reconstruction and technical tinkering. Clara was an accountant who taught him to read before he went to school.

Jobs's youth was riddled with depression over formal schooling. At Monta Loma Elementary school in Mountain View, he was a prankster whose fourth-grade teacher needed to payola him to study. Jobs tested so well, however, that administrators wanted to skip him further to high school—a proposal his parents declined. Jobs then attended Cupertino Junior High and Homestead High School in Cupertino, California. Between the following years Jobs met Bill Fernandez and Steve Wozniak, a computer whiz kid.

Steve Jobs

From following high school graduation in 1972, Steve Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Reed was an expensive college which Clara and Paul could ill afford. They were spending much of their life savings on their son's higher education. Mr. Steve Jobs dropped out of college after six months and spent the next 18 months dropping in on creative classes, and including a course on calligraphy. He continued auditing classes at Reed while sleeping on the floor in his friends' dorm rooms, and he returning Coke bottles for food money, and getting weekly free meals at the local Hare Krishna temple

In year 1976, Wozniak invented the Apple Icomputer. Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne and  Wozniak, an electronics industry worker, founded Apple computer in the garage of Jobs's parents in order to sell it. And they received funding from a then-semi-retired Intel product-marketing manager and engineer Mike Markkula.

Through Apple, Mr. Steve Jobs was widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his impressive career in the computer and consumer electronics fields. Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Animation Studios (Pixar),  and he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar.

Mr. Steve Jobs died at his California home around 3 p.m. on October 5, 2011, due to complications from a relapse of his already treated pancreatic cancer.

Mr. Ray Kroc, 1902-1984: The Man Who Made McDonald's Popular Around the whole World

McDonald's

The fast food industry start up with two brothers in San Bernardino, California in the nineteen forties.  Mac and Dick McDonald owned a small, but very beautiful & successful restaurant.  They sold only a few kinds of simple food, especially hamburgers.
Ray Kroc sold restaurant supplies.  Then he recognized the importance of the McDonald brothers' idea.  He saw that food sales could be organized for production -- almost like a factory.  Mr. Kroc paid the McDonald brothers for permission to open several restaurants similar to theirs.  Then he opened the first McDonald's restaurant near Chicago, Illinois, in year 1955.  Soon, more McDonald's were opening all across the United States.  Other people copied the idea and more fast food restaurants followed similar to their.
